Biography
A native of Ormond Beach, Kathy Weston graduated from Seabreeze High School. Following that, Ms. Weston graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. While attending Stetson, Ms. Weston worked at the Daytona Beach Police Department in a variety of capacities (Records Clerk, Emergency Communications Officer, and Part-Time Police Officer) and, then at a local public accounting firm as an Accountant and Office Manager. Ms. Weston attended the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she served as the Business Manager of the Journal of Law, Ethics, and Public Policy and graduated cum laude.
After law school, Ms. Weston practiced at Baker & McKenzie in the tax controversy practice group of the firm's Chicago office. After moving home in 2004, Ms. Weston parlayed her litigation experience into a general civil practice. Ms. Weston handles a wide variety of business and general commercial disputes, along with tax controversies and complex family law disputes.
