  • Biography

    Mr. Sznapstajler joined Cobb Cole as an associate in the Environmental and Land Use Department after participating in the firm's summer program in 2007. As part of his environmental practice, Mr. Sznapstajler assists clients with solid and hazardous waste issues, environmental remediation, brownfield redevelopment, submerged lands permitting and wetland and species issues. In 2010, Mr. Sznapstajler joined Cobb Cole's Litigation Department. As part of his litigation practice, Mr. Sznapstajler assists clients with a variety of commercial litigation and labor and employment law matters.

    During his undergraduate education at the University of Miami, Mr. Sznapstajler was a student assistant in the athletic department, was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and served as President of the Jewish Student Organization. Prior to starting law school, Mr. Sznapstajler worked as an intern for the Miami Dolphins in the Community Relations Department. In 2008, Mr. Sznapstajler received his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. While at Stetson, Mr. Sznapstajler was a member of the Moot Court Board and Phi Delta Phi, and was an intern with the Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County.

    Mr. Sznapstajler is active in the community and serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties, a social service counsel that focuses on providing assistance to financially stressed families and care to the aged. In addition, Mr. Sznapstajler serves as Secretary of the Daytona Beach Partnership Association, a non-profit main street organization that provides technical support, planning, and design for neighborhood development. Mr. Sznapstajler is also the co-chair of the Florida Brownfields Association Legislative & Policy Committee and assisted with efforts to have funding for Brownfield redevelopment increased during the 2011 Florida legislative session. In addition to his community and professional activities, Mr. Sznapstajler coaches middle school volleyball at St. James Episcopal School in Ormond Beach.
