Baylee Bunyard, initially joined Cobb Cole in 2021 as a law clerk and started his practice in our Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Probate department in 2022. A majority of his practice is focused on developing comprehensive estate plans for each of his clients and tailoring those plans based on his clients’ individual needs and situations to ensure that their estate planning goals are achieved. Mr. Bunyard has been working in the legal industry since 2015 and has been exposed to a multitude of practice areas. He utilizes his exposure different practice areas by providing nuanced insights that may have been overlook so his clients have the confidence that their intent and wishes will be achieved. 

Mr. Bunyard, a first-generation college graduate, received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2018 with Certificates in International Relations and Public Affairs. In 2022, he received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school Mr. Bunyard was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in his Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing class (the “Book Award”), and was the sole recipient of an Estate Planning Certificate in his graduating class. 

Originally from Gulf Breeze, Florida, Mr. Bunyard is now a proud resident of DeLand. He has served on the Board of Directors for the DeLand and Greater West Volusia Chamber of Commerce since 2024 and is currently their Vice President. Through the DeLand and Greater West Volusia Chamber, he received the opportunity to assist with launching  the Greater West Volusia Chamber Foundation, a non-profit established to bolster the Chamber’s educational missions by providing scholarship opportunities to West Volusia students and to assist, honor, and award our local educators. Mr. Bunyard currently sits on the Chamber Foundation’s Board of Directors.
