A native of Daytona Beach, Mr. Bowling graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University in 1996 with a degree in English. In 1999 he graduated from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude, where he was the recipient of the Outstanding Labor and Employment Law School Student Award, presented by The Labor and Employment Law Section of the Florida Bar, and served as Research Editor of the Stetson Law Review.

Mr. Bowling has served as chairperson of the March of Dimes Volusia County Community Council, as well as Treasurer and President of the Board of Directors for the Children's Advocacy Center of Volusia and Flagler Counties. He has also worked with the Coalition for the Homeless and the Ormond Beach Youth Baseball program, and is actively involved in youth soccer with the Ormond Beach Soccer Club.

Mr. Bowling is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. His practice areas include labor and employment, commercial, and general civil litigation.
