A co-founder of the firm, Mr. Cole received his Ll.B. degree from Duke University in 1950 (replaced by his J.D. degree in 1970) and joined with Mr. Cobb to found the firm. He is a past president of the Volusia County Bar Association and the Daytona Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Mr. Cole has served as a CLE lecturer for The Florida Bar, as a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Seventh Judicial Circuit. He also served as a member/Chairman of the Seventh Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee for nine years. Articles by Mr. Cole have been published in the American Bar Association Journal and the Florida Bar Journal, and he holds an AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory upon his retirement. Mr. Cole practiced in the real estate, commercial finance, and estates and trusts areas. In addition, he was certified as a mediator by the Florida Supreme Court.
