Ms. Sander is a native of Germany and speaks German fluently. She has been a resident of Daytona
Beach since 1981 and graduated in 1998 from Atlantic High School in Port Orange, FL. In 2002, Ms.
Sander graduated from the University of Florida with a B.A. in German, after which she attended
Stetson University's College of Law in St. Petersburg, FL, where Ms. Sander received her Juris
Doctor in May 2005. While at Stetson, she was the recipient of the The Florida Bar City, County,
and Local Government Award, The Attorney's Title Insurance Fund Award, and The William F. Blews
Pro Bono Service Award. She was also an active member of Canakaris Inns of Court.
Ms. Sander is a member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the Volusia
County Bar Association. For the past three years, Ms. Sander has served on the Board of Directors of
the Daytona Beach Young Professionals Group and currently holds a position as Treasurer. Ms. Sander
practices in the area of real estate law, which includes representing both corporate entities and
private individuals in closing and loan transactions, and her real estate practice also focuses on
condominium law, including the formation of condominium and homeowner associations. Ms. Sander is a
member of and an authorized full service title agent for Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund, Inc.
