Mr. Pope graduated from Florida State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He received a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law -- Texas A&M University in 1999. While at South Texas, Mr. Pope received the Pretrial Procedure Endowed Book Award, the Admiralty & Maritime Law Endowed Book Award, the Phi Delta Phi Award for Advanced Marital Property, and was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta International Legal Fraternity.

Civically, Mr. Pope serves as Chair-Elect and Director of Easter Seals of Volusia and Flagler Counties; past President of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Volusia/Flagler Counties; past President of the Real Property Council of Volusia County; Secretary and Director of S.P.A.R.C. of Volusia, and is a graduate of the Leadership Daytona Class of 2004.

Mr. Pope is a member of The Florida Bar and is Board Certified by the Florida Bar's Board of Legal Specialization in the area of Real Estate law which certification is held by only 4% of all real estate attorneys in the State of Florida. Mr. Pope holds a BV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Pope is an authorized title agent for Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund, Inc., Chicago Title Insurance Company, and Commonwealth Land Title, and his practice concentrates on real estate, business, and corporate transactions.
