Cobb Cole Attorney Chairs Statewide Group

Katherine Hurst Miller, an attorney with Cobb Cole law firm in Daytona Beach, on June 17 was sworn in as president of the Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division.

She is the division’s first-ever president from the Seventh Circuit, which consists of Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns counties.

The Young Lawyers Division has over 25,000 members, all Florida lawyers under age 36 or in their first five years of practice. The division provides a full program of continuing education for its members, as well as other projects and activities designed to serve young lawyers and the public.

“I am honored that the board elected me to serve as president and excited to get to work for Florida’s young lawyers,” Miller said in a news release. She will serve a one-year term.
